FAQ

Registration

Why do I need to register on your portal?

You do not need an account to access our many resources , however you need a valid developer portal account to gain access to our products and APIs.

My username and password are not working when I try to make a call to CIC Plus APIs?

The username and password provide access to the Developer Portal, not the individual APIs. For access to our APIs, you need to login to the portal and subscribe to one of our API products. Details on our subscription process can be found here.

Please try to change your password to update your portal credentials or contact supportapi at CIC Plus dot com if the problem persists.

Product Subscription

How do I subscribe to your API product ?

We have provided details on our subscription process here.

When will I know about the decision on my API subscription request?

Submitted requests are reviewed almost immediately upon submission. The applicant will be notified via email within 24 - 48 business hours after applying online.

I have been approved for CIC Plus API. What are the next steps?

Every approved customer receives an email with detailed instructions on their sandbox account. Please review our Getting Started and API Documentation pages for all additional information.

How much does it cost to access CIC Plus API?

For approved customers, CIC Plus APIs will be provided under the terms of the License Agreement. Please contact supportapi at CIC Plus dot com for pricing.

My subscription request was rejected. Can I re-apply?

CIC Plus goes through a very thorough review of every application before making a decision. If your expectations or requirements changed with regards to our APIs implementation, please re-apply following the standard application process.

Testing API endpoints

I have problems testing API endpoints, what am I doing wrong?

Before you can start testing our API, you need to do the following:

  1. Subscribe for a Product (we have provided details on our subscription process here.)

  2. Wait for approval of your subscription request.

  3. Once you are approved, get a Product subscription key (it can be found on your Profile page).

  4. Get Authorization bearer Token (see details here).

  5. When testing API, add two headers:

    • Authorization ("bearer [your token]")

    • Ocp-Apim-Subscription-Key ([your subscription key])

I cannot download a Pay Statement PDF file during testing in the Developer Portal

As of now, the developer portal does not allow to download a pdf, and the end point needs to be accessed via swagger or postman outside of the portal to get the pdf file.
